Once you create your account, our auth system send you a password.

While you are able to change it at any time we strongly suggest you:

1.- Change the initial password
2.- Use a strong password and avoid weak ones: we recomend a 8-16 character pasword using numbers, caplocks and at least 1 simbol
3.- Secure your Discord access. Use the 2FA Discord method.
4.- If you suspect your account could be compromised, change your password inmediatly and in the worst of the cases ask CSR to lock your account while you solve your problems.

Step 2: Install the Nexus Launcher

Once the download is complete, locate the file called “Nexus-Launcher-Setup.exe” in your downloads. Double-click it to start the installation process. The launcher will be installed at this location: C:\Program Files\Nexus Launcher.
Step 3: Create a Shortcut (Optional)

If you want quick access, you can create a shortcut. Go to C:\Program Files\Nexus Launcher and find “Nexus Launcher.exe”. Right-click on it and choose “Create Shortcut.” You can then drag this shortcut to your desktop or pin it to your taskbar.
Step 4: Run the Launcher

You can now run the Nexus Launcher from the shortcut you created, from your Windows start menu, or directly from the folder. To avoid issues, right-click “Nexus Launcher.exe” and choose “Run as administrator.”
Step 5: Install SWG: Nexus
To install the game, you’ll need to own a copy of Star Wars Galaxies (SWG). In the Nexus Launcher, select where you want to install the SWG: Nexus game files. Click “Install.”

NOTE: If you already have the original SWG installed, you can select that location to speed up the process.
Step 6: Set Your Game Settings and Play!
Once the installation is complete, the Play button will be enabled. Before playing, you may want to go to the Settings

When everything is ready, join our Discord and type, “I survived installing SWG Nexus!”

Step 7: Register and create your game account on this forums.
