Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct outlines behavior rules for the SWG: Nexus community, covering all platforms like the website, forums, game, Discord, and social media. These guidelines help maintain a safe, fair, and fun environment for all players. The rules can change as needed to support the community and game atmosphere.
Even though we provide examples, some situations will be handled case-by-case by the Galaxy Guide (CSR). Staff members have the final say on rule interpretation and enforcement, including any penalties.
This Code of Conduct works alongside the Terms of Service, and breaking the Code may lead to consequences, including account cancellation.
General Rules
To keep the community safe and enjoyable, avoid the following:

[*]Engaging in "fight clubbing" for easy GCW/tokens.
[*]Uploading or distributing harmful files.
[*]Harassing or threatening other players in any form, including hate speech.
[*]Using offensive or inappropriate character names or content.
[*]"Trolling" to provoke negative responses.
[*]Creating alternate accounts to break rules or avoid punishment.
[*]Impersonating others or claiming to be part of the SWG: Nexus staff.
[*]Posting ads or promotional content, including for other Star Wars -Galaxies servers.
[*]Sharing personal information of players.
[*]Attempting to steal account information.
[*]Involving in the sale or transfer of game accounts or content.
[*]Using cheats, hacks, or unapproved third-party software.
[*]Misusing in-game support features or making false reports.
[*]Hacking or interfering with the servers.
[*]Exploiting bugs for unfair advantages.
[*]Disrupting other players' experience or trying to take down the server.
[*]Providing false information during account registration.
[*]Disrupting chat with spam, all caps, or offensive language.

Mod, Hack and Cheat Prohibitions
Using mods, hacks, cheats, or any third-party software or hardware to gain an unfair advantage over others is prohibited. To ensure a fair and balanced environment for the entire community, please avoid the following actions:

[*]Do not use unapproved third-party software or hardware to modify the game or change gameplay.
[*]Avoid any actions that place an unreasonable load on our Service.
[*]Do not use add-ons, stored rapid keystrokes, 'dupes,' 'cheats,' or any other methods that accelerate the acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank, or status.
[*]Refrain from using your own or third-party software to alter the user interface or manipulate data to gain items, currency, objects, character attributes, or benefits not actually earned in the game.
[*]Do not exploit bugs or in-game systems to gain an unfair advantage.
[*]Avoid any conduct that results in an account containing items, objects, currency, or character attributes that are inappropriate for the level or rank of the character.
[*]Do not engage in in-game item transfers that unfairly increase the value of a character’s account for out-of-game sales.

Harassment Policy
We aim to create a comfortable environment for all. Harassment includes abuse of game mechanics or verbal harassment intended to distress others. Intent matters; if harassment is reported, the SWG: Nexus Galaxy Guide will determine if it was intentional.
Harassment also includes persistent derogatory behavior directed at individuals or groups. If you face harassment, try to alleviate the situation first. If it continues, report it.
Derogatory comments based on sex, race, religion, or related factors are always considered harassment and are not tolerated.
Harassment penalties can range up to immediate account closure, depending on the severity and history
Naming Policy
When creating names for characters, guilds, or other entities in SWG: Nexus, avoid the following:

[*]Negative references to religion, race, nationality, or sexual orientation.
[*]Drug-related terms.
[*]Impersonating SWG: Nexus staff or members.
[*]Gibberish, Leet speak, or offensive phrases.
[*]Significant religious or historical figures.
[*]Names that violate rules when combined.
[*]Violating this policy may result in a name change or account penalties.

Community Guidelines
Follow these to keep the community user-friendly:

[*]Don’t discuss politics, sex, or religion.
[*]Don’t bump posts without adding value.
[*]Stay on topic and don’t hijack threads.
[*]Tasteful profanity should be used respectfully.
[*]Avoid petition posts; discuss issues civilly instead.
[*]Posts and messages violating rules will be moved or removed.
[*]Report inappropriate posts or messages to the SWG: Nexus staff.
